lydia suggests a book (or 2).
first time posting, not sure how this will work, but here goes. right now i'm reading edward rutherford's "new york", which I am LOVING- have read all his other works, and he doesn't disappoint. if you've been to NYC you really "see" what he's writing about. also reading "the girl with the dragon tattoo" steig larrson-really good, and love his description of the swedish villages. i'm also in the library queue to get jaqueline winspear's newest-the mapping of love and death. one other book that has been languishing on my nightstand is diana gabaldon's "echo in the bone"-love her books are so long and detailed-it's great vacation reading. oh so many books so little time.
